Hong Kong Whisky Festival 2018


Whisky lovers, this post is for you! 
The largest whisky event - Hong Kong Whisky Festival is back! 
Organized by InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong and Tiffany's New York Bar, the third Hong Kong Whisky Festival will return on 14 April 2018 (12:30pm – 7:30pm). 
Featuring with the biggest number of amazing brands ever and over 500 different whisky expressions, alongside an array of exciting master classes hosted by diverse brand ambassadors, The Hong Kong Whisky Festival will definitely appeal to whisky lovers of all levels.



Largest among the past three whisky festivals, this year’s event features more than 500 outstanding whisky expressions from over 120 brands around the globe. Besides the well-known Scottish and Japanese whiskies, the Whisky Festival will also showcase brands from Taiwan, France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, India, the USA and The Netherlands, to name a few. 


Participants will be able to mingle with producers, distillers, independent bottlers and brand ambassadors. The sheer range of whiskies shown on the day will appeal to beginners in the same way as they will challenge serious whisky connoisseurs. 


  • There will be over 30 master classes hosted by renowned whisky ambassadors. Charlie Maclean, the renowned leading whisky expert in the world and consultant for leading whisky brands, is sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge by hosting two master classes at the festival.  Another top highlighted master class conducted by Richard Urquhart from Gorden & MacPhail serves very rare whisky from the brand, aged minimum half a century, is able to let participants to taste whisky which many could only try once a life.

Participants will get to enjoy the chance to interact with the dazzling mixologist, Mr. Hiroyasu Kayama from Ben Fiddich Bar in Japan.  He will feature some original and exclusive creations of cocktails, showcasing the latest trends from Japan at the event.  Ben Fiddich Bar was recognized as Asia’s 50 Best Bar as well as World’s 50 Best Bar in 2017, voted by drinking experts from across the globe.
