Hugo’s Celebrates The Season of Love

Hugo’s has been one of the most sought-after romantic restaurants in town for almost half a century.  This Valentine’s Day, you and your significant others are invited to dress up for special occasions and enjoy the 6-course dinner menu filled with love and pleasure.

The loving feast will begin with gourmet appetisers, including the enticing Dutch veal tartare with quail egg, osietra caviar, cream cheese, mustard ice-cream and micro leaf follow by the luscious caramelised Gillardeau oyster with cucumber, mango, radish and affilla cress.  Couples may then take a sip of the creamy saffron foam soup with lobster tortellini, pine nuts and basil prior to the mains.

Do not miss the succulent sous vide red mullet with beetroot, endive, peas and curry foam and the rich and intense Irish dry-aged chateaubriand with pumpkin, vanilla, brussels sprouts, enoki and madeira jus, which is cooked to perfection.

The climax of the night will feature the pastry chef’s dreamy creation, which will surely make the diners’ heart skip a beat.  The “Heartbeat” composes of spicy chocolate cup with jasmine tea and chocolate mousse, and decorated with edible strawberry diamonds atop of the bergamot parfait; while the patterns of heart and cardiograph on the plate would perfectly describe the increased heartbeat of each lovebird of the night.

The Valentine’s Day dinner menu is available on 14 February 2018 at HK$1,388 per person with a complimentary glass of Champagne.

Hugo’s is an authentic European fine-dining restaurant serving traditional Western cuisine prepared only with the finest ingredients available.  Table-side cooking is the icon of the restaurant.
