Macao’s Favourite Food & Wine Mercato Returns to Bene




Let's have fun!  And celebrate the Italian Carnival of Venice. Where? In macao at Bene's at Grand Sheraton. 

Coinciding with the renowned Carnival of Venice, the most popular masked carnival of Italy, Bene at Sheraton Grand Macao will be abuzz with colour, creativity and cooking when it hosts its first “Carnival of Veneto” Food & Wine Mercato of the year on February 2 and 3, 2018. 



Back by popular demand, the exciting and interactive Food & Wine Mercato will now be held at the start of each month this year.  Inspired by Italy’s colourful markets, the focus for the first Mercato of the year will be on the region of Veneto, one of the country’s most popular destinations that is famous for its food and entertainment. 




Located in North-East Italy, Veneto is renowned for its salamis, cheese, prosecco and tiramisu. This month’s menu is designed by Luca Pecorari, Bene’s Executive Sous Chef, who has chosen a variety of dishes to showcase the region’s rich cuisine. The sensational selection includes Amberjack Carpaccio, Squid Ink Risotto and Pan Seared Stockyard Beef Tenderloin, each dish paired perfectly with a handpicked wine. 



Bene’s Food & Wine Mercato presents the finest dishes, artisanal food products and specially selected wines from Italy’s gastronomic-rich regions. The two-day feast features live cooking stations, wine professionals and artisanal retail products to encourage guests to recreate classic Italian fare at home. The first of its kind in Macao, this pioneering dining concept invites epicureans to embark on a new culinary journey each month to discover authentic Italian flavours.
