As a Japanese restaurant with an emphasis on authenticity, Sagano follows Japanese New Year traditions so that guests can celebrate the occasion in Japanese style.  On New Year’s Eve, Sagano will offer a Traditional “Long-life Noodle” Set from 10:30 p.m. to midnight for diners to eat soba noodles, which signify long life.  On the first day of 2018, Chef Masahiko Noka will perform the Mochi-pounding Ceremony at the hotel lobby at 11 a.m. to share an auspicious start to the year for hotel guests -- the freshly prepared, soft and sticky mochi will be presented to guests to savour.  After the ceremony, guests may visit Sagano to enjoy a range of authentic Japanese New Year dishes from the festive Osechi Set Lunch.  An Osechi Set Dinner will also be served on the same day.





The seven-course New Year’s Eve kaiseki set dinner at Sagano highlights include seasonal sashimi from Hokkaido, including Fresh Oyster, Fatty Tuna and Striped Jack, as well as authentic Japanese specialities such as Stewed Alfonsino and Silver Cod Roe Hot Pot, Grilled Wagyu with Japanese Bigleaf Magnolia Miso Paste, Zuwai Crabmeat in Vinegar Sauce, Chirashi Sushi (Sea Urchin, Scallop, Salmon and Salmon Roe) as well as Red Miso Soup with Lobster Head, complemented with Greenhouse Melon and Strawberry.  A complimentary glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve NV Champagne will be served for a perfect wine-and-dine experience.




Are you nostalgic? Think about Ho Lee Fook that begins with an early dinner from 5pm with a specially curated menu of the restaurant’s signature contemporary Chinese dishes. If you’re looking to be in it for the long haul, can choose the later seating from 8.30pm onwards, which leads into a night of karaoke and nostalgic tunes from the mid-90s. Three hours of free-flow sake, whisky green tea, vodka and beer are included.. …







Italian trattoria DiVino is throwing a gangster themed New Year's party with the prohibition era theme running throughout the night. A mini à la carte menu with traditional dishes like spaghetti and meatballs as well as seasonal specials is available earlier in the evening. After 9.30pm, a DJ hits the decks to set the party mood ready for the big countdown to 2018. Free-flow from the restaurant’s extensive wine and cocktail list is available from 8pm until 1am.

To celebrate New Year’s Eve this year, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse will bring back this acclaimed club as the venue for the hotel’s countdown party.
Dance away the last of 2017 and the first few hours of 2018 in JJ’s Music Room, where thrilling music will be provided by the international band ‘Night Train’, a US-based band from Canada that lives up to its name, taking crowds on a journey through various musical genres, sounds and melodies.
