Jungle all the way at PMQ

An eco-friendly market and 36 Christmas trees made from drink cartons are on stage at PMQ during festive period, till 31 December, from 12 nn to 9 pm

The architecture firm AaaM and Green Power present a design-centric Christmas installation that uses recycled drink cartons to create a carton tree jungle. The aluminum foil lining of the cartons lends itself as the perfect canvas to shine against festive energy-saving LED lights.
While you’re there, make sure to check out the Go Cup X PMQ X’mas Zero Mart offering eco-friendly products like utensils, soap and hair products and vintage second-hand items, as well as tons of family-friendly workshops like family yoga and Furoshiki wrap design.

PMQ is one of the biggest conservation projects in Hong Kong. Built at the junction of Aberdeen Street and Hollywood Road as the former Police Married Quarters has been revitalised as a centre for all things creative and design-based.
More than 100 creative enterprises can be found at PMQ, where old residential units have been converted into small boutiques and design studios selling handmade products from jewellery to homeware goods.
Pop-up stores from international designers are also a common occurrence at PMQ and the regular night markets are particularly popular among design enthusiasts.
