Farewell to Excelsior, Hong Kong



A piece of Hong Kong history will dim its lights for the last time on 31 March 2019......  


Having graced Hong Kong Island’s skyline since 1973, The Excelsior, Hong Kong, which has been synonymous with glamourous entertainment and exceptional hospitality for 46 years, offers to its guests an exclusive Fond Farewell dinner at one of restaurantson 30 March 2019, for an everlasting memory.

By booking the Fond Farewell dinner, guests will be welcomed by the Fond Farewell reception at the hotel lobby where they can enjoy unlimited drinks including the Pink Panther Cocktail, a tribute to the British comedy Revenge of the Pink Panther, which was shot at the hotel in 1978.

Each restaurant will stage their best with captivating happenings on this final evening.


ToTT’s and Roof Terrace
Listening to the sounds of a live band, enjoying panoramic harbour views, tasting a complimentary glass of champagne and savouring a six-course dinner, guests can relive the glitzy nights of the 70s and 80s, when ToTT’s was known as the Talk of the Town. The six- course set dinner is priced from HKD 2,688 per person and includes Passion Oyster, Smoked Crab with Oscietra Caviar, Robbins Island Wagyu Tenderloin and more.


Dickens Bar
A fun-filled evening of memories is guaranteed at this quintessentially British pub. Guests will be rewarded with memorable gifts during its final Quiz Night, with a stand-up comedian playing quizmaster. Live music will be among other entertainment on offer to diners while they savour Dickens’ legendary curries. Its Curry and British Fare Buffet will feature favourites such as Lamb Vindaloo Curry, Beef Brisket Madras Curry and Braised Short Rib and Mini Yorkshire Pudding. Priced from HKD 888 per person, the buffet includes a free flow of draught beers. Diners will receive a Master Dickens beer glass to take home.

Café on the 1st
This restaurant’s farewell dinner buffet will feature an opulent seafood selection and themed desserts comprising Braised Abalone, Dried Conpoy and Sea Cucumber in Abalone Sauce, Grilled Oyster, Alaskan King Crab Leg, Jumbo Scallop, and Craved Wagyu Beef. The dinner is priced from HKD 988 per adult and at HKD 588 per senior citizen or child, with a free flow of house wine and selected drinks from 7pm to 10:30pm.

Yee Tung Heen
Michelin-starred cooking will be available for the final time at this authentic Chinese restaurant that opened in 1993. The sophisticated skills of its chefs will be reflected in a perfectly-crafted menu that includes Barbecued Pork, Baked Crab Shell Stuffed with Crab Meat, Braised Whole South African Dried Abalone and other extraordinary dishes. A face- changing performance, rainbow Chinese calligraphy and other traditional Chinese cultural entertainment will be staged. This special dinner is priced from HKD 1,888 per person (minimum four persons per booking).
