Corrado Michelazzo: Italian star chef at Isola Bar & Grill




Creativity and talent from Italy to China. The famous Michelin-Star Chef Corrado Michelazzo is the executive chef  at the Isola Bar & Grill kitchen in IFC, Hong Kong. 


Coming from the Northern Alps in Italy (Piedmont) and having worked amongst many talented chefs, Chef Corrado worked in a number of restaurants around Europe, particularly in the Alpine regions: 10 Corso Como, Va Bene, and many Michelin-starred restaurants. Then he served at four Michelin-starred restaurants and being the executive chef at 10 Corso Como in Shanghai.  He is very creative and brings new flavors to Isola tables every day. His food creates a new and unconventional experience to Italian cuisine.




Isola Bar & Grill is a stylish open concept Italian restaurant where customers can enjoy al fresco dining experience.
IOver the last decade, Isola’s white on white décor, open copper kitchens along with delicious thin-crust pizzas, homemade pastas, and selections from the grill are as much a signature in Asia as its wine list of over 200 well-chosen old and new world wines.





Many are Chef Corrado signatures dishes, form the appetizer to dessert such as Granchio Imperiale “a Modo Mio” ... (King Crab “My Way” Crunchy Sicilian cannolo, Catalan salad, Steamed with imperial Caviar), Terrina di fegato d’anatra in crosta di tartufo nero con pane alle alghe e filetti di acciughe (Duck foie gras terrine with black truffle, served with seaweed bread and filet of anchovies), Salmone selvaggio alla griglia con trio di maionesi agli agrumi e insala di micro erbe (Grilled Wild Salmon with trio of citrus mayo and baby leaves salad), Cappuccino ai funghi porcini (Porcini Mushrooms soup served Cappuccino Style)…
